Alexa Kelemen

Alexa Kelemen was born in Cungrea, Romania. An interesting history accompanies an interesting achiever; receiving highest honors, Kelemen graduated from the Institute of Art in Constanta, Romania in 1965. She continued her studies, completing degrees with The School of Popular Art in 1989, again receiving great honor.

Kelemen is an established artist in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, where many exhibitions of her work have been held. Exhibitions, awards, and collectors come easily to artists of Kelemen’s caliber. Alexa’s Romanian collectors include Olympic gymnasts Daniella Sivalas and Nadia Comanici. Kelemen has also been commissioned several times by well-known Romanian artist Valentin Popvidi.
