Grandma Moses
1860 - 1961. Anna Mary Robertson Moses only started painting at the age of 76. For the next 25 years, this self-taught “primitive” filled countless canvasses with memories of farm life. At her death at the age of 101, both President Kennedy and Governor Rockefeller hailed her as one of America’s most beloved artists.
