J. Thomas Larson

You may have encountered the work of J. Thomas Larson on the pages of "American Artist," which featured his paintings in the February 2004 issue. His sparkling compositions, full of light and life, are truly memorable. By the time this Minnesota native was 18, he was painting full time, having won a position at the prestigious Atelier Lack. Trained in the manner of the Old Masters, Larson is drawn to the simple moments of life, looking beyond the surface to the beauty and emotion that lies within.
